Forster and Tuncurry are two adjacent towns in the Great Lakes area, united by a bridge. The Forster-Tuncurry Congregation has two centres of worship, one in each of these towns, but is a single Congregation.

With rapid growth in the local population, the local Congregation finds itself serving a wide cross-section of people but with a high number of retired people.

The Congregation worships at Forster at 9:00am each Sunday (corner of MacIntosh and Lake Streets). As well as this, there is “Sundays@5”, a café church, at Tuncurry on the first and third Sunday of each month at 5:00pm and a mid-week communion at Forster at 2:00pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Other worship includes monthly service in the Beaumont Nursing Home, a regular service in the GLAICA House retirement facility and a weekly Monday morning prayer group at Tuncurry.

Fellowship activities include an adult fellowship group (every second Wednesday of the month at 1:30pm in the Tuncurry Church) and Singles group meetings, Care and Share group meetings and an under-60s Friendship group. There is a Spring Fair in September each year. Contact the Church Office for more details of any of these; or, indeed, about any of the Congregation’s activities.

The current minister in placement is the Revd Audrey de Witte, who has been in this placement since February, 2003. Click on her name for her contact details.
