Urunga is a coastal village, 20 minutes south of Coffs Harbour on the Pacific Highway. The current population is about 3,000 residents and it is a popular holiday destination with many caravan parks and flats taking advantage of the Bellinger and Kalang Rivers as they join together at the mouth.

Whilst the current Uniting Church Congregation is mainly made up of retired residents, the community is expanding with hundreds of new home sites planned for the near future. Some are long-time residents of the district whilst others have moved from the cities, looking for a “sea change”. The Urunga Uniting Church is a caring and welcoming community.

On-going pastoral care for the Urunga Congregation is given by Lay Ministry Agent, Pastor George Bedggood.
